Welcome to Copenhagen Admiral City Hotel

Copenhagen Admiral Hotel in the heart of Denmark's capital

Built in 1787, guests will enjoy the best of past and present at this historic hotel in Harbour, the heart of Copenhagen.

Located in the theatre district, popular shopping areas and neighbouring major tourist attractions, our Copenhagen city hotel interweaves convenience, culture, design and service in all 366 rooms and suites.

For centuries, our building in Copenhagen harbor has been at the centre of extraordinary historic events, especially the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801.

With Amalienborg, the royal residence on the portside and the City of Copenhagen on starboard, the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is a flagship among international hotels.

Our 4-star hotel overlooks The Copenhagen harbour front, The Royal Opera and The Playhouse. Key attractions include Amalienborg Palace, The Little Mermaid, The impressive Gefion Fountain, and Amaliehaven park which are only 1 minute away.

There are those "just another day at the office" days - and then there are the days, which give more meaning, days which call for new thinking and a wider perspective. A feature of all important meetings is the fact that the venue is integral to the success: it should be inspiring, have a high quality standard and offer an environment which encourages creative and constructive thinking. Of course, it should be easily accessible by public or private transportation.

There is no other place quite like Copenhagen Admiral Hotel. Outside, you have the harbour promenade and the views of the harbour. Inside, the massive wooden beams complement the elegant and inviting appointments. Small, secluded gardens are right outside our 11 unique meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 2-300 delegates.

What our guests say:

Hotel full of character.

This hotel is full of character, the rooms have an individual style built in to an ancient mill. Overall hotel impression has a quality feel and the dated room décor didn't detract from my stay, it even added a bit a character. Much better than major hotel chains which I try and avoid if possible.

Bar has a great atmosphere and the staff are always welcoming and cheerful.

Breakfast was very good and in a lovely room setting. Good selection and plenty of room even though the hotel was busy.
